The restaurant industry conference you don’t want to miss!

Straight To The Source are thrilled to be involved in Foodservice Australia’s National Restaurant Conference. Presented in conjunction with Restaurant and Catering Australia, this exciting event will be hosted in Melbourne on Monday, 28 February 2022.

Bringing together professionals from all corners of the industry – restaurateurs, cafe operators, caterers, chefs, suppliers, owners and senior managers, it’s a place to share ideas, inspiration, and tried and tested advice, ensuring the resilient and flourishing future of food and hospitality in Australia.

The National Restaurant Conference features a stellar line up of leaders, innovators and experts. With 15 guest speakers speaking on a variety of topics, from utilising technology in a post-covid world, to what to expect next in the industry, and reflecting on change, it will be a thought provoking and empowering event.

And you can hear from both of the founders of Straight To The Source, Lucy Allon and Tawnya Bahr. Lucy will join Liz Grossi-Rodriguez from Grossi Restaurants and Jerry Mai from Pho Nom and Bia Hoi, to discuss ‘The hospitality staffing crisis – in search of strategies and solutions’ hosted by Dani Valent. And, Tawnya will be speaking at the panel discussion ‘Sustainability – possibilities and opportunities’ – joining Darren Robertson from Three Blue Ducks and Melissa Goffin from Red Gum BBQ.

If you haven’t already, secure your ticket for the National Restaurant Conference and join in on the learning – and all the fun here.

In the spirit of the industry coming together in one place, Straight To The Source will also be hosting an event on Saturday, 26 February 2021,  ‘Slow Food in a Fast World’, an intimate event for chefs, food professionals and dietitians.
