The Restaurant & Catering Association have been successful in advocating the changes to the Restaurant Industry Award, which took effect from 11 August 2021.

Brendon Zhu, the R&CA Senior Advisor of Industrial Relations and Policy, will discuss the available Restaurant Industry Award changes, the three support packages R&CA are offering and how R&CA are here to help navigate your business through. 

Michael Kay (Wallman’s Lawyers) Employment, Safety and Workers Compensation, will also be available to discuss this and other industry related issues.

R&CA are joining forces with the Working Women’s Centre to help connect workers with work opportunities, educate members on workers’ rights and workplace relations, and to influence the perception of workplace culture in hospitality. Director Abbey Kendall and Junior Industrial Officer Lungaka Mbedla will be joining us to discuss their client’s experiences.
